Warmer Days And Stronger Rays Will Come To York In Just Three Days!

Hello this is Junior Meteorologist Kyle Elliott with our daily weather pattern discussion...and as you saw from my jingle above, warmer days are on the way to south-central Pennsylvania in just three days as the cold shot we're in right now will soon be on its way out. Now I'm not saying it's going to be a beautiful, perfect kind of warmup, but it still should provide southern PA with temperatures in the middle to upper 50s instead of 45-50 degrees. Over the next two days, a chilly high pressure will be over the region before a clipper system approaches from the Great Lakes. Ahead of that clipper on Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will climb up the scale again as highs approach the 60 degree mark anywhere from Harrisburg to Philadelphia southward on Wednesday. Do not be disappointed if another one or two day chill comes back behind the clipper, but I'm thinking we'll only see highs drop to the lower 50s on Friday which will bounce right back up into the middle to upper 50s by Saturday. After that, a much stronger and more powerful warm-up appears to be in store for the remainder of March as highs should soar into the 60s and 70s for much of the southern half of the state by next weekend as a broad southwesterly flow takes over. So warm-weather lovers, just hold on for a few more days because warmer weather will be here very soon and will soon hold on for the rest of the spring, summer, and fall. The worst is by far over and better, sunnier, warmer days are sure to come! So that's about all I have for ya'll for now, so hope ya'll have a great night and a great Easter tomorrow! Remember what the Lord did for you on the cross tomorrow and give praise to Him for providing us an easy way to Heaven if we but accept His free gift of Salvation. This is Junior Meteorologist (Storm Tracker) Kyle Elliott reporting for the AKStormtracker Forecasting Center!

*Just a little side note again here tonight...if ya'll woke up at exactly 8:30 A.M. in York, PA, this morning, you would have awoken to a near white out as a dusting of snow quickly accumulated on grassy surfaces in ten minutes before the snow stopped. I was fortunate enough to wake up at exactly the right time to see the burst of whiteout snow, but I'm sure many of you weren't...so I just thought I'd tell ya'll that it did in fact snow for a brief time here this morning and it looked very beautiful while it lasted. But, of course, as temperatures rose right after the snow stopped, it was completely gone in 10 short minutes.*
