Final Forecast Snowfall Map For Tonight's/Tomorrow's Storm...A Tough Call!

As you will probably notice, I went a little more conservative on my final forecast map for the battleground areas than I showed last night simply because conservative thinking has been the best so far this year. Also, the 6z runs of the models were much warmer than 00z runs showing mostly mixed precipitation and rain in the battleground areas, but I still went a little more aggressive than the 6z runs because I think the cold air will hold its ground a little more than anticipated, and 12z runs were more reminiscent of 00z runs. So without further explanation, on to the map!

P.S. The area in far eastern Maine is probably unerdone because I wanted to show the track of the low and therefore not confuse it with the deeper blue right on top of the red. So folks in far eastern Maine, instead of 1-3 inches, think more along the lines of 8-12. I'm sure that will make some of you very happy....=)
