Hello this is Junior Meteorologist Kyle Elliott...and it's snowfall map time again! Two systems will affect the eastern part of the country in the next 3-8 days, and I figured I would take a first shot at both of them by making my first thoughts snowfall maps. The first map is for the Alberta Clipper system that will affect the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast this weekend, and the second map is for the MAJOR storm that will affect the same area around next Wednesday. Just to let ya'll know, I am going to disagree with most meteorologists at this point on the storm next week in that I foresee the first major snowstorm of the season for the Eastern Seaboard, and they do not. My explanation for this reasoning will come at some point throughout the evening. So, without further adieu, onto the maps!
For the Weekend Clipper:

For the MAJOR storm around the 10th:
