So today I collaborated with two of the meteorology majors in my dorm, and this was our agreed preliminary map for the December 12th-13th storm. I thought it would be interesting to do a joint map for the storm, so I talked to two of my friends and we decided that the storm track would most likely cut right up the Appalachians and the ridge-and-valley region of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast...giving the best snows to the Great Lakes region. Discussion will follow later this evening or tomorrow as I am too busy to post more now...so check back later for more updates. This is Student Meteorologist Kyle Elliott...along with student meteorologists Josh Henry and Kevin Winters...reporting for the AKStormtracker Forecasting Center!
