Daily Weather Pattern Discussion...Where Did The Storms Go?

Hello this is Junior Meteorologist Kyle Elliott with our daily weather pattern discussion...and where in the heck did all the storms go that were on the models for te last few days? Just two or three days ago, the models were showing storm after storm for our area over the holidays, but now, all the storms are gone! Let me tell you, I am greatly disappointed that the models hyped everything up only to take it all away at the last minute, but that's the weather and we can't do anything about it. By the way, sorry for not posting the last two days...my computer was down and there was no way I could have posted. Anyway, we have a high wind warning in effect for our area tonight as winds may gust upwards of 60 MPH on the backside of a cold front. Also, we could experience an isolated thunderstorm this evening with the passage of the front accompanied by wind gusts between 40 and 55 MPH. Oh, and say goodbye to the warmth of today as highs tomorrow will barely manage to climb into the lower 40s. The official high today was an amazing 62 degrees, but within two hours of the frontal passage that temperature will be closer to 42 or even slightly lower than that. After the winds subside tomorrow night, it appears as if we will be able to enjoy a calm weather pattern for the holidays as the sun should shine daily accompanied by mild temperatures in the 40s to near 50. So in reality, there is not much to talk about tonight, so that's about all I have for ya'll this evening, so hope ya'll have a great rest of your evening and I'll talk to ya'll tomorrow! If you have any questions on this forecast or would like to know my forecast for the weather in your area of the country for any day in the next two weeks or less, please, feel free to e-mail me at akstormtracker17@yahoo.com or kyleae@earthlink.net!
