May Outlook...My Forecast For The Next 15 Days!

Hello this is Junior Meteorologist Kyle Elliott...and because I do not post much in the spring and summertime, I will summarize my outlook for the weather across our region for the next two weeks. I will take things day by day, so here we go. First, tomorrow will see mostly cloudy skies with a shower or two possible in the afternoon as a warm front approaches. Highs will be near 65 in the south and 55 in the north. On Friday, the warm front should stall in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania, providing a contrast in temperatures from 60 in the north to 80 in the south. Thunderstorms will be possible across the north and west on Friday. On Saturday, a cold front will approach the region as temperatures soar into the 70s statewide...but watch for strong thunderstorms Saturday night. On Sunday, morning rain will yield to afternoon clouds with highs in the 60s. Monday through Wednesday should be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the 60s and 70s statewide. Thursday through Saturday should remain warm, but a storm system may approach the region by Saturday. 70s will rule the roost during this time period as well. Sunday through the following Wednesday should bring mostly sunny skies and even warmer weather as highs hit the 70s and 80s statewide with chances for thunderstorms by Tuesday and Wednesday. So that's a wrap on what should happen in the next two weeks, so hope ya'll have a great first half of your month and I'll update again mid-month! This is Junior Meteorologist (Storm Tracker) Kyle Elliott reporting for the AKStormtracker Forecasting Center!
