Sunday's Outlook, Lake Effect Snow.

Hi this is AKStormtracker17's junior meteorologist Andrew Fleck with an evening outlook. First things first, I have been out of the office for the past month and most of my posts have been deleted due to blog updates so it's like starting new again.

Anyway the most talked about weather today is the lake effect snow that will effect the areas of Lake Erie and North. A front has pushed through so a chilly air mass is being felt currently and even colder overnight. With a wave behind that, this means that a cool rain or mostly snow could occur, more likely over the Great Lakes. Specifically, Jamestown, NY to Springville, NY. Those areas I could see receive 5-10 inches of snow, and depending on elevation maybe more. Another area from Fulton, NY to Watertown, NY could see about the same. The areas above are under Lake Effect Snow Warnings, meaning this is where the worst of the snow could fall. I do believe that if the 534 line does indeed move more South and East, then there would be no reason why some areas (higher elevations) in Pennsylvaniam could not see a dusty or so. This is possible because most of the snow would be falling between the 528 and 534 lines. Which is 25-30 degrees. I'm AKStormtracker17's junior meteorologist Andrew Fleck, enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
