Finally, It's Time To Start Talking Snow...Here's Two Snowfall Maps To Get Things Rolling!

Obviously the two snowfall maps I posted above need considerable written or video discussion, so I will try and post discussion tomorrow. If I don't get around to it, know this: winter is coming into the East by the end of this week and, with a negative NAO and cold air pouring across the Appalachians, a snowstorm is bound to affect somebody in the Eastern half of the nation by the beginning of December. As of now, I have little confidence snowfall for anybody south of I-80 for the Thanksgiving storm, but the December 1st storm looks very intriguing. Therefore, I am leaning toward the track along the coast for that storm, but I will post more in-depth discussion about the exact possibilities and factors guiding these storms tomorrow. So enjoy the hype for now, and look forward to a probably video tomorrow. This is Junior Meteorologist Kyle Elliott reporting for the AKStormtracker Forecasting Center!
