Snow Map Time!
Hello this is Junior Meteorologist Kyle Elliott with my latest thoughts snow map for the 14th storm! I have not changed it much from the map I made a few days ago, but I did add an area for a foot plus of snow on the map. For the major cities, I have you guys in 1-3 inches of snow except for Boston which I have in 3-6. Sorry I-95 corridor folks, but I just think too much warm air will invade the system from the Atlantic Ocean which will lead to mixing issues at the onset and the height of the storm. I think, in seeing both the 6z and 12z runs of the GFS models (which now show a monster storm just as I thought they might), warm air will invade the coastal cities and the axis of heaviest snow will run from Hagerstown, MD...to Selinsgrove, PA...to Scranton, PA...to far western Massachusetts...to Augusta, Maine. So anyways, I will post much more thorough discussion later after the 18z run of the GFS model...but here's my latest snow map!
