Round Two Severe Weather...Storms In MD, VA, And PA!

Hello this is Junior Meteorologist Kyle Elliott with an update on round two of the severe weather...and a squall line has formed in parts of Virginia and Maryland over the past hour or so. This line will continue to move east through the overnight period before weakening around 12 Midnight. Farther north in south-central and southeastern Pennsylvania, a broken squall line is moving east...but the storms within that line are more intense than the MD and VA storms with possible tornadic development in Adams County, PA. Those storms will continue east throughout the entire Susquehanna Valley through 11 P.M. and 12 Midnight before pushing into New Jersey by later tonight...so folks living in York, Lancaster, and Reading, PA, heads up because a possibly dangerous situation may start to unfold over the next hour or so! For me, this situation is particularly concerning and worrisome because I live in York County, PA, and am almost in the direct path of those storms that could have possible rotation with them...and if a tornado warning is issued for York, I'm going to be excited but worried at the same time especially since the torando would come in the night and would not be very visible to the naked eye. Anyways, only a severe thunderstorms warning has been issued with any cells now, though, but the NWS has hinted that possible rotation could be possible as the storms move through the Lower Susquehanna Valley over the next hour or two. So anybody who lives around this area, listen to further updates from the NWS and remember, if a warning is issued, please, take shelter immediately! On a brighter side, very few tornadoes have been reported today as compared to yesterday and only an isolated torando or two is likely throughout the rest of this evening. So that's about all I have for now on this latest severe weather situation, so hope ya'll have a great rest of your evening and I'll talk to ya'll tomorrow when I have more time to discuss the long range snowfall possibilities! And before I end here, I want everyone who was affected by the tornadoes yesterday yo know that my thoughts and prayers have been extended to you and your families...GOD BLESS YOU ALL!! If you have any further questions on this forecast or the severe weather of yesterday and tonight, please, feel free to e-mail me at akstormtracker17@yahoo.com or kyleae@earthlink.net! This has been Junior Meteorologist (Storm Tracker) Kyle Elliott with a severe weather update for the AKStormtracker Forecasting Center!
